2010/2011 Recruiting

We are now recruiting for the 2010/2011 season.

The Guelph Gargoyles are always looking to develop new players. 

 If you are a Canadian looking for an exciting new game that combines skills found in many North American sports such as Soccer, Rugby & Basketball then this is the game for you.  We have players from the ages of 17 to 42 and of all skill levels.  So don't be afraid to come on out.  Australians, either travelling for a season or Canadian residents (even ones that have not played Aussie Rules before) are a valued addition to our team.  We usually begin training in February for the playing season which runs May-October but feel free to join us at any time throughout the year.  Please see the player registration tab to contact us for more details.

Players on the team are located in Guelph, Kitchener/Waterloo, Cambridge, Milton & Burlington.  We can provide carpool transport for those without a car to both practice and games from these locations or any other on route from these places to Guelph.  Note that you need a ride in your email to us and we will set you up.

In 2011 we will also be targeting bringing some players out to play for the Gargoyles from Australia as we have done in 2010.  The club can help you find accomodation, assist with visas, potentially help you find a job depending upon your skills and job availability and provide transport for you.  The guys on the team will help you settle in and you are sure to make some great mates on the team.  Work visas for Canada are easy to obtain and allow stays of more than 2 years if required.  Contact us for more details.
